The Backposting Prevention is used to prevent Nominal backposting before a specified date.
To access the Backposting Prevention go into the Nominal Ledger, select the Utilities tab and click the Setup option. On the window that appear select the Backposting tab at the top of the window.
The following window will be displayed:
Enter a date before which postings cannot be made and select the "Save" button.
