Marketing and GDPR

The Marketing and ACM both respect the GDPR settings on an individual customer record and will only send using agreed methods.  

 

The Marketing system allows the type of campaign to be defined (Service/General and email/telephone etc) so that non-opted in customers can be communicated with appropriately and in line with GDPR.

 

The ACM will also act appropriately, skipping customers and vehicles set for no-service contact and skipping methods of contact that a customer hasn't opted in for.

 

It should be noted at this point that many dealers will be declaring a "Legitimate Interest" to justify the inclusion of existing customers for Service and MOT follow-up.  Navigator will allow this as existing Data Protection flags will be carried forward.
